THe Honor Guard's sole purpose is to display Honor, and demonstrate the commitment, dedication, and tradition of the Fire Service.
We perform an array of services, including:
- Presenting the colors
- Flag folding
- Casket watch
- Ushers
- Pallbearers
- Drill and Ceremony
- Bell ringing
And a few more. We do our best to add to an event without being a distraction from the event.
We’ve been used in many different ways. The keys to our success are pride, professionalism, training, dedication & commitment.
Columbia Honor Guard was established in the mid to late 80’s by Chief Don Davis. It currently has 10 members, 7 active. They are listed in order of tenure:
