A fall community tradition at CRFD Station 20 made a triumphant return this year!
Volunteer and career firefighters at the station hosted their annual Fall Festival on Saturday evening October 26, 2024. The event was well attended as citizens of all ages came out to enjoy free food, bounce houses, games and candy.
Members of CRFD Rescue 2 also pulled out their auto-extrication tools to provide a live demonstration of how they can cut through a vehicle following an auto accident.
The festival was made possible thanks in large part to the efforts of CRFD volunteer members, who worked with area businesses to obtain sponsorships.
The event was held for more than 30 continuous years in Ballentine before the COVID-19 pandemic led to it being cancelled from 2020-2023.
