Columbia Fire Department Photographers

Walter B. Busby was the Chief Photographer from 1935 until his retirement in June of 1964. During that time, he was responsible for all CFD photography and his photographic legacy can be found throughout the department website and on the walls of the Columbia Fire Department Museum.

The Present Chief Photographer Robert L. Busbee has been taking photos during the last few decades for the Columbia Fire Department and he has also provided us with an even greater history to our department. His photographs can be found throughout the department website and on the walls of the Columbia Fire Department Museum and other fire department materials. Chief Photographer Busbee has dedicated his service, faithfulness and loyalty to this department and we are dedicated to him.
Pam Crabtree is our second photographer for our department. She has been taking photos since the 1990’s for the Columbia Fire Department and she has added photo coverage by providing us with amazing photos to our department. She adds a wealth of photos from all aspects that the department does. Her photos can be found throughout the department, such as photos on the department website and other fire department materials. Fire Photographer Pam Crabtree (“photo 2”) brings a great deal of media expertise and we are grateful to her for the wealth of knowledge she brings to this department.
